2019 Club Renewals

RFHavens 0 3507 Article rating: No rating

It is now time to renew your club for 2019!

Reminder that all clubs/teams need to be active, registered USAC member clubs in order to wear clothing bearing commercial sponsorship. If you have not already done so, please register or renew your club ASAP. You may renew your club now and it will be good for the remainder of CX season and all of 2019. I would hate for folks not to be able to wear their team kits this weekend at the Regional CX Championships.

You can renew your club online through your USA Cycling account, by clicking on tools on the club page, or by submitting a paper application. Regardless of how you renew, doing so now will give you a head start on 2019!

P.S. If you have any questions about the renewal process, feel free to contact our membership desk at 719.434.4200 or via email at membershipmail@usacycling.org

2018 INSURANCE OPTIONS FOR YOUR CLUB

RFHavens 0 2579 Article rating: 2.0

2018 Club General Liability Insurance is now available! New this year is the ability to submit the form and pay online.

As a USA Cycling registered club you have the opportunity to purchase liability insurance for your organization through our insurance program, providing a safety net for your team.

General liability, as well as directors and officers liability insurance, is offered at a competitive rate to member clubs. These policies cover the club during cycling related club activities such as meetings or non-sanctioned training rides, a great backup to have for teams of any size but especially for teams that are growing their memberships and hosting regular events.

Find out more, including application information, by going to our website. If you have any questions regarding the program feel free to email us. Insurance may not be a fun topic for most, but it plays a vital role in ensuring your club continues to focus on what matters most - riding bikes.

Club of the Year and Renewals

RFHavens 0 4135 Article rating: No rating

Dear USA Cycling Club Contact:

Every year we hear about the fantastic achievements of our member clubs, and we want to recognize as many of them as possible. From clubs raising money for local nonprofits, to helping to grow junior racing in their area - each club has a story to share.

If this sounds like your club please consider applying for the Club of the Year awards. The application can be found on your club page. Further information on the how to apply and the selection process can be found here.

In addition we have opened club renewals for 2018. Renewing now means your riders will be able to continue listing your club on their license when they renew later this year!

You can renew your club online or using a paper application. After logging into your USA Cycling account use the following steps:

Go to the "Tools" tab, under the welcome message.

Navigate to the "Clubs and Race Directors" box

Select "Manage USA Cycling Clubs"

The renew link will appear under the expiration date on the club page

Updates and Info

If you have any suggestions, please let Robert know. Try to be resonably specific if you can as it helps in the long run. Remember to update your links for the CCA Offcial website to carolinascycling.org. We have setup web forwarding from our old site address.

We are constantly looking to make improvements to this website, from how we manage information dislay to maintenance. Now that the CCA Annual meeting is complete and the base calendar set, we are building the events calendar with many new features. We have all events from that list added. Some of the event info is basic until either the promoter provides it to me (Robert) or I pull it from the USA Cycling website once you start the permit process there. We do ask that you information always include the name and date(s) of your event. For the maps integration, we ask that you include an accurate address to the staging site or parking area for your event(s). Also new, is the ability for us to add some details to your event listing. This should be in plain text format and be reasonable length (i.e. not all the info from your flyer) but maybe some good info that is not on your flyer.
